IA Live Prelude 2026 Re:Connect – Hannover, The First Signal

The virtual artist IA will light up the HanaCon stage with a special performance. In collaboration with Virtual Stage Productions (VSP) and 1st PLACE, ‘IA Live Prelude 2026 Re:Connect – Hannover, The First Signal’ promises to be an extraordinary concert experience.

The show combines well-known hits and new songs from past live productions and is based on over a decade of technological development in the field of vocal synthesis. Modern sound, lighting and stage design create an immersive experience that uniquely blends real and virtual elements.

IA -ARIA ON THE PLANETES-
IA, often described as a ‘virtual artist with a soul’, was developed in 2012 by 1st PLACE using the VOCALOID3 engine. Since then, she has established herself as an independent music artist and embarked on her first solo world tour in 2015 with PARTY A GO-GO, visiting twelve cities – a milestone for VOCALOID concerts.

Her live shows combine virtual staging with real-life performances, including dancers and live bands, thereby creating a unique connection between technology and artistic expression. As one of the early defining voices of the VOCALOID scene, her music reaches a global audience.

IA Live Prelude 2026 aims to further strengthen the connection between IA and her international fan communities and, together with VSP, open up new forms of collaboration.
