About HanaCon

HanaCon is Hanover’s premier convention celebrating anime, manga, cosplay, and the rich cultures of Japan and South Korea – bringing fans and culture enthusiasts together from all across Germany. What makes it special: our event is run 100% by volunteers. Our entire crew works purely out of passion for the community without making any profit, meaning every contribution goes directly right back into the convention.

On April 24–25, 2027, immerse yourself in a vibrant experience that blends modern East Asian pop culture with cultural heritage: from anime, webtoons, and K-Pop to authentic street food and interactive workshops.
