HanaCon House Rules

1. Scope and Premises

  • These house rules apply to the entire site: Wienecke XI Conference Center, Matsuri area, entrance area, and food truck area.
  • The premises are accessible for people with disabilities and include a corresponding restroom (use for authorized persons only).
  • The premises must be vacated by 10:00 PM at the latest; staying overnight is prohibited.
  • Identification is mandatory (ID card, driver's license, or passport).

2. Youth Protection and Admission

  • Children up to 7 years: Free admission when accompanied by an adult (proof of age required).
  • Children up to 13 years: Admission only with parents or a guardian authorized under the Youth Protection Act with a physical parental consent form (Muttizettel).
  • Youth (14-15 years): Stay without a guardian is permitted only until 10:00 PM.
  • Youth (16-17 years): Stay without a guardian is permitted only until 12:00 AM (midnight).
  • Accompanying persons: Accompanying persons for severely disabled visitors receive free admission.

3. Photo, Video, and Audio

  • Recordings will be made on the premises. Visitors agree to the free use of these recordings by HanaCon e.V., exhibitors, and the press.
  • Recordings of the stage program and workshops are permitted, provided the artist/instructor does not issue a prohibition.

4. Prohibitions and Safety

  • Strict Alcohol and Cannabis Ban: Consumption leads to immediate expulsion without a refund.
  • Open fires and means of transportation (except for those with physical impairments) are prohibited.
  • Escape routes must be kept absolutely clear of bags or cosplay props.
  • Suitcases and oversized bags (> 24 liters) are not welcome inside the building.
  • The unauthorized use of electrical outlets is considered theft.

5. Conduct and House Rights

  • Commercial activities (goods, services, advertising) without prior permission are prohibited.
  • The premises must be kept clean; the person responsible will bear cleaning costs in case of violations.
  • The hotel operations of Wienecke XI must not be disturbed (risk of being banned from the site).
  • In the event of criminal offenses, the police will be contacted and charges will be filed.
